Maithan Alloys Ltd Suspends Production at Byrnihat Unit Indefinitely

Maithan Alloys Ltd has announced the full suspension of its production at its Byrnihat unit, effective from 22nd September, 2025. This decision comes as a continuation of the proposed closure of production at the Byrnihat Unit due to adverse market conditions and a significant increase in power cost in the State of Meghalaya. The company had previously intimated about the proposed closure in letters dated 30th June, 2025 and 13th August, 2025.
