Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd Secures LOA from Southern Railway for Electric Traction System Upgrade

Rail Vikas Nigam Limited has received a Letter of Acceptance (LOA) from Southern Railway for the upgradation work of Electric traction system from 1x25 kv to 2x25 kv traction system for Salem Jn. (SA) - Podanur Jn. (PTJ) & Irugur (IGU) - Coimbatore Jn. (CBE) -Podanur Jn.(PTJ) section of Salem division of Southern Railway. This work is in the normal course of business of the Company and is expected to meet the 3000 MT loading target. The cost of the work is Rs 143,37,87,127.90 including applicable taxes.
