American Public Education Completes University System Combination

American Public Education, Inc. (APEI) announced the completion of the previously disclosed combination of American Public University System, Rasmussen University, and Hondros College of Nursing. The three institutions have been consolidated into a single entity, now named American Public University System. The Higher Learning Commission has approved the continuation of accreditation for the newly formed System. Additionally, Angela K. Selden, the Company's President and CEO, has been appointed Chancellor of the System.
