CoreCivic Appoints Lucibeth N. Mayberry as New CEO; Patrick Swindle Resigns

CoreCivic, Inc. announced that its Board of Directors has appointed Lucibeth N. Mayberry as President and Chief Executive Officer, succeeding Patrick D. Swindle, who has resigned due to health reasons. Mr. Swindle will step down from his role as CEO and from the Board, but will serve as a special advisor during the transition. Ms. Mayberry, who previously held the position of Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer, has also been appointed to fill the vacancy on the Board.
