Deep Isolation Selected for 3 DOE Project GENESIS Grants

Deep Isolation Nuclear, Inc. announced its selection as the sole industrial partner for three competitive federal grants under the U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE) Project GENESIS program. These initiatives, led by Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory and the University of South Carolina, aim to advance artificial intelligence-enabled repository site screening, design, and performance analysis for nuclear waste disposal. The projects will leverage Deep Isolation's expertise in deep borehole disposal and Universal Canister System design, combining it with LBNL's geoscience and AI capabilities and USC's physics-informed AI for faster, data-driven site characterization.
