Exyn Defense, a division of Exyn Technologies, Inc., announced a strategic expansion of its autonomy focus beyond battlefield missions to include defense sustainment and readiness. This move targets the Department of Defense's Organic Industrial Base, a significant new growth market. The company plans its first aircraft sustainment deployment at the U.S. Air Force's Warner Robins Air Logistics Complex, with an MVP demonstration in October 2026 and operational activities starting in January 2027. This expansion leverages Exyn's existing ExynAI autonomy engine to address a market where sustainment costs represent about 70% of a weapon system's total lifecycle cost.
