GitLab Director Merline Saintil Resigns; Board Size Reduced to 8

GitLab Inc. announced that Merline Saintil resigned from its Board of Directors and the Compensation and Leadership Development Committee, effective April 15, 2026. Her departure was not due to any disagreement with the company. Following her resignation, the Board appointed Godfrey Sullivan, a current Lead Independent Director, to the vacant committee position and simultaneously decreased the overall Board size from nine to eight members.
