Halliburton Appoints Maurice S. Smith as Lead Independent Director

Halliburton Company announced on September 15, 2026, that its independent directors have elected Maurice S. Smith as the new Lead Independent Director. He will serve in this role until the next annual election or until his earlier death, resignation, or removal. Mr. Smith's election includes an additional annual retainer of $40,000.
