Home Depot CEO Ted Decker Takes Temporary Medical Leave

The Home Depot announced that its Chair, President, and CEO, Edward P. Decker, will take a temporary medical leave of absence. In his absence, the Board of Directors has appointed two long-time executives to oversee the Office of the CEO. Ann-Marie Campbell, Senior Executive Vice President, will manage day-to-day operations, while Richard V. McPhail, Executive Vice President and CFO, will oversee financial management and Pro subsidiaries, also serving as interim principal executive officer. Gregory D. Brenneman will chair the Board, and Mr. Decker is expected to return within a few months.
