IDT's NRSInsights: June Same-Store Sales Up 3.4%; Inflation Drops

IDT's subsidiary, NRSInsights, reported that June 2026 same-store sales increased 3.4% year-over-year, a slower rate than the previous month. While units sold decreased 1.5% and baskets per store decreased 0.4%, the average price for the top 500 items saw a lower increase of 1.3% year-over-year, indicating a sharp drop in inflation compared to May. The NRS network, comprising about 34,500 independent retailers, processed $2.3 billion in sales during June.
