MDA Space Ups Share Offering to $819M for Acquisition Funding

MDA Space Ltd. announced an amended agreement to increase its previously announced bought deal offering. The company will now sell 23,000,000 common shares at US$35.60 per share, raising approximately US$819 million in gross proceeds. The offering size was increased from 20,000,000 common shares, and an over-allotment option for an additional 15% was granted to underwriters. The net proceeds are intended to fund a portion of the cash purchase price for its acquisition of a 70% interest in Collecte Localisation Satellites (CLS), with closing expected around July 14, 2026.
