Orla Mining: Camino Rojo Mine Blockade Declared Illegal; Union to Lift

Orla Mining provided an update on the work stoppage and illegal blockade at its Camino Rojo Mine in Zacatecas, Mexico, which halted operations since June 1. Following a meeting with union representatives and the Mexican Department of Federal Labour Conciliation, the Labour Authority confirmed the blockade is illegal. The union leadership has committed to communicating the need to lift the blockade and resume safe, normal operations by the evening of June 4. Negotiations on productivity bonus payments will resume contingent on the restoration of normal mine operations.
