Stantec JV wins US$150M USACE contract for Charleston coastal resilience

Stantec, in a joint venture with Johnson, Mirmiran and Thompson (JMT), has been awarded a US$150 million contract by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Charleston District. This contract is for designing critical infrastructure to advance coastal storm risk management on the Charleston peninsula. The project is part of a larger US$1.2 billion program and involves designing over eight miles of integrated coastal infrastructure, including storm surge barriers, floodwalls, and nature-based features, to protect the historic community.
