Texas Pacific Land Partners with Chevron for West Texas Power Project

Texas Pacific Land Corporation announced an agreement to provide land and brackish water resources to Chevron U.S.A. Inc. for its Project Kilby, a large-scale power generation facility supporting a customer data center in Reeves County, West Texas. TPL contributed surface acreage in exchange for cash and the exclusive right to source aquifer-derived water for the project. This partnership leverages TPL's extensive land and water resources in the Permian Basin, reinforcing its commitment to responsible water stewardship by utilizing brackish groundwater and reducing demand on freshwater.
