UMC Subsidiary Divests Taiwan Semiconductor Shares for NTD 302.5M

United Microelectronics Corporation (UMC) announced that its subsidiary, Fortune Venture Capital Corporation, disposed of 3,706,000 common shares of Taiwan Semiconductor Co., Ltd. The transaction, which occurred between January 23, 2026, and July 15, 2026, generated a total monetary amount of NTD 302,534,400. UMC's subsidiary realized a gain of NTD 137,617,400 from this divestment, which was conducted for financing operations. Following the disposal, the subsidiary retains 3,035,000 shares, representing a 1.15% stake in Taiwan Semiconductor Co., Ltd.
