Arcadia Biosciences Reports Q1 2026 Results; Zola Volumes Up 18% YoY
15 May 2026 · 15 May, 1:43 am
Summary
Arcadia Biosciences announced its financial results for the first quarter of 2026, noting an 18% increase in Zola® coconut water unit volumes. However, total revenues decreased by 8% to $1.1 million compared to the same period last year, primarily due to a revenue reserve release in 2025. The company's net loss attributable to common stockholders was $4.4 million, or $2.11 per share, driven by factors including a loss related to a warrant inducement offer. Management is focused on growing the Zola coconut water brand and evaluating strategic alternatives.

Management Comments
T.J. Schaefer
We are very pleased with our performance during the first quarter of 2026. We were able to bring in gross proceeds of approximately $2.1 million from the exercise of previously outstanding preferred investment options, Zola® coconut water revenues and volumes increased at a double-digit rate compared to the same quarter last year, and our selling, general, and administrative expenses are at the lowest level in Arcadia’s history as a public company. Going forward, we continue to evaluate strategic alternatives but also remain focused on growing our Zola coconut water brand and are excited about the prospects of launching a new product that we expect to be on the shelves of many of our largest customers this fall.
