Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd Announces Promotion of Two Chief General Managers as Executive Directors
Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd has announced the promotion of Shri Gyaneshwar Prasad Payasi and Shri Pradeep Kumar as Executive Directors (ED) with effect from 1st April, 2026. Shri Gyaneshwar Prasad Payasi, Executive Director (CMD-Coordination cell), has over three decades of experience in PESM, CMD Coordination, TBCB, CMG and project execution functions. He has led major operational and strategic assignments and has been instrumental in asset monetization and laying down transmission lines for evacuation of power from remote locations. Shri Pradeep Kumar, Executive Director (CTDS-AP), has nearly three decades of experience in asset management, substation maintenance, and consultancy assignments. He is currently heading a strategically significant project of the Government of India in Arunachal Pradesh.
