Chennai Petroleum Corporation Ltd Appoints Shri V.C. Asokan as Non-Executive Nominee Director

Chennai Petroleum Corporation Ltd (CPCL) has appointed Shri V.C. Asokan as a Non-Executive Nominee Director on its Board, representing Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), the Holding Company. The appointment is effective from 02.04.2026. Shri Asokan holds a Master’s Degree in Business Management and has over three decades of rich and diverse experience in the oil and gas sector. He has consistently demonstrated excellence in leadership roles across various states in India and at Lanka IOC PLC, a subsidiary of IndianOil in Sri Lanka.
