Torrent Pharmaceuticals to Amalgamate with J.B. Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals: NCLT Meeting Notice

Torrent Pharmaceuticals Limited has issued a notice to shareholders for a meeting convened by the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT). The meeting, to be held on April 28, 2026, will consider and approve the proposed Scheme of Amalgamation of J.B. Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals Limited with Torrent Pharmaceuticals Limited and their respective shareholders under Sections 230 to 232 and other applicable provisions of the Companies Act, 2013. The meeting will be conducted through video conferencing / other audio-visual means. Remote e-voting will be available from April 24 to April 27, 2026, and e-voting at the meeting will be available for those who have not voted through remote e-voting.
