Torrent Pharmaceuticals Ltd has sold 50,000 Equity Shares of UNM Foundation (Section 8 Company) to its Holding Company, Torrent Investments Limited. The total consideration for the shares is ₹ 5,00,000. UNM is a Section 8 company and hence, there is no revenue or turnover. The transaction is a related party transaction, but it is done at ‘arm’s length’. The sale was completed on March 30, 2026, and the consideration was received on the same day. Torrent Investments Limited is both the buyer and the promoter of Torrent Pharmaceuticals Ltd.
