Suraj Ltd. to Expand Manufacturing Capacity to 170 MM OD Pipes, Investing Approx. Rs. 15 Crores

Suraj Ltd. has announced a capacity expansion project to enhance its manufacturing capability up to 170 mm OD pipes. The existing capacity is around 5000 MT Per annum with close to full utilization. The total capacity (existing and additional capacity) will be up to 7000 MT Per annum. The proposed capacity addition is expected to be completed by September, 2026, with an investment of approximately Rs. 15 Crores from internal accruals. The rationale behind this expansion is to reduce dependence on imports and cater more effectively to domestic demand.
