Riken Corporation Rebranded as NPR-RIKEN Nigata Corporation; Technical Collaboration Agreements Transferred to NPR-RIKEN Corporation

Shriram Pistons & Rings Ltd has informed that the reorganization of its Technical Collaborator, Riken Corporation, has become effective from April 1, 2026. Riken Corporation has been renamed NPR-RIKEN Nigata Corporation. Certain business divisions and contractual rights/obligations of Riken Corporation have been transferred to NPR-RIKEN Corporation under Japanese law. All Technical Assistance Agreements, Technical Collaboration Agreements, and related contracts with the Company now stand succeeded by NPR-RIKEN Corporation, ensuring continuity of technical and commercial arrangements. The reorganization does not impact the shareholding pattern; NPR-RIKEN Nigata Corporation continues to hold 21.30% equity in the Company. A confirmation has been executed between the Company and NPR-RIKEN Corporation acknowledging transfer of all existing agreements with effect from April 1, 2026.
