Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd Announces Sanjay Khanna as New Chairman & Managing Director
Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd (BPCL) has announced the appointment of Sanjay Khanna as the new Chairman & Managing Director (C&MD) of the company. Khanna, who was previously holding additional charge as C&MD since May 1, 2025, has been appointed for a term till his superannuation on May 31, 2029, or until further orders. Khanna is a Chemical Engineering graduate with over three decades of experience in refinery operations and technical services. He has played a key role in setting up new process units in Refineries at Mumbai, Kochi, and Numaligarh, and has led several prestigious projects. Under his leadership, BPCL has planned to invest Rs.75,000 Crore in the coming five years, including the single largest investment of BPCL, Rs.50,000 Crore Bina Petrochemical and Refinery Expansion Project (BPREP) at Bina, Madhya Pradesh.
