
Bharat Coking Coal Ltd Reports 2.0% Growth in Raw Coal Production for March 2026
Bharat Coking Coal Limited has released its provisional monthly production performance for March 2026. The company reported a 2.0% growth in raw coal production compared to the same period last year. The production of coking coal stood at 4.22 million tonnes, a 33.70% increase from the same period last year. However, non-coking coal production decreased by 13.4% to 0.20 million tonnes. Underground mine production decreased by 29.2% to 0.11 million tonnes, while opencast mine production decreased by 11.8% to 4.31 million tonnes. The production of washed coking coal decreased by 3.2% to 0.17 million tonnes. Overburden removal decreased by 10.5% to 12.21 million cubic meters. The offtake of raw coal decreased by 24.4% to 2.66 million tonnes.
