Blue Dart: Prakash Apte resigns as Chairman & Independent Director

Blue Dart Express Ltd announced the resignation of Mr. Prakash Apte (DIN:00196106) from his positions as Chairman and Independent Director of the company. His resignation, tendered on April 12, 2026, is effective from the conclusion of the Board Meeting scheduled for Monday, April 13, 2026. The primary reason cited for his departure is health issues. Consequently, Mr. Apte will also cease to be the Chairman and Member of the Audit Committee, and a Member of the NRC, Risk Management Committee, CSR Committee, and Stakeholder Relationship Committee. The Board of Directors has placed on record its appreciation for his valuable contributions during his tenure. Mr. Apte also holds independent directorships in Fine Organics Industries Ltd. and GMM Pfaudler Ltd.
