Independent Director, Bhaskar Bhattacharya, Resigns from Power Finance Corporation Ltd to Avoid Conflict of Interest

Bhaskar Bhattacharya, an Independent Director at Power Finance Corporation Ltd (PFC), has tendered his resignation from the position of Independent Director, citing potential conflict of interest due to his proposed candidature in the West Bengal Assembly election. Bhattacharya, who was appointed as a part-time Non-Official Director on the Board of PFC for a period of one year from the date of notification of his re-appointment, has confirmed that there is no other reason for his resignation. He expressed gratitude to the President of India, all the Dignitaries, and the Board of Directors, including other Independent Directors, for their support during his tenure.
