Aurobindo Pharma to Transfer Domestic Branded Pharma Business to Subsidiary Auropharm Limited for INR 143.21 Crores

Aurobindo Pharma Ltd has approved the transfer of its domestic branded generic pharmaceutical formulations products business to its wholly owned subsidiary, Auropharm Limited, for a lumpsum consideration of INR 143.21 Crores. The transfer is expected to be completed within 90 to 120 days from the date of the Business Transfer Agreement (BTA), which was executed on 6th April 2026. Auropharm Limited is engaged in the business of trade of branded generic formulations and pharmaceuticals products in India. The transaction is not applicable to related party transactions as it is between a holding company and its wholly owned subsidiary.
