Dalmia Bharat Ltd. Cement Sales Affected by Kiln Breakdown in Odisha

Dalmia Bharat Ltd. has reported a sudden breakdown in one of its kilns at Rajgangpur, Odisha on 13th March 2026. The kiln, which contributes significantly to the total clinker consumption in grinding units in Odisha, West Bengal, and Jharkhand, was out of order for 14 days. This resulted in a reduction of almost 2.5 ~ 3.0 Lac Tons in cement sales in the company's key eastern markets in March 2026. The company regrets the disruption in supplies to its channel partners and is taking necessary measures to normalize supply chains at the earliest.
