Central Bureau of Investigation Conducts Search and Seizure Operation at Reliance Telecom Limited

On March 26, 2026, officials of the Central Bureau of Investigation conducted a search and seizure operation at the office premises of Reliance Telecom Limited (RTL), a wholly owned subsidiary of Reliance Communications Limited (Company). The operation was carried out under the provisions of Section 185 / Section 103(6) of the Bhartiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023. During the search, the officials took possession of various documents and a portable SSD containing data related to the books of accounts of RTL and summary of related party transaction. The Company and RTL continue to operate their business in the normal course. The search and seizure operation is not expected to have any impact on the financials or operations of RTL and the Company, as they are undergoing corporate insolvency resolution process under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016.
