Capital Small Finance Bank Ltd Appoints Mr. Sameer Mahawar as Chief Risk Officer

Capital Small Finance Bank Ltd has appointed Mr. Sameer Mahawar as the Chief Risk Officer (CRO) with effect from April 01, 2026. Mr. Mahawar, aged 34, holds a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) degree and is a Chartered Accountant (CA) with over 14 years of experience in the banking and financial services sector. He has been associated with the Bank since May 2017 and has worked across multiple key functions including in Finance Department, Treasury Department and in his last role was working as Deputy CRO. He is presently appointed as Chief Risk Officer (CRO) of the Bank with effect from April 01, 2026. Mr. Raghav Aggarwal is being elevated as Chief Credit Officer (Branch Banking) w.e.f. April 01, 2026 upon completion of his tenure as Chief Risk Officer w.e.f. March 31, 2026 from closure of the business hours.
