Power Mech Projects Wins ₹296 Cr Mumbai Monorail O&M Contract

Power Mech Projects Ltd (PMPL) has secured a ₹296 Crore (excluding GST) Operations & Maintenance (O&M) contract from Maha Mumbai Metro Operation Corporation Limited (MMMOCL) for the Mumbai Monorail. This 5-year contract covers the 19.54 Km route and 17 stations from Sant Gadge Maharaj Chowk to Chembur. The award signifies PMPL's entry into the urban mobility sector, leveraging its extensive O&M experience from power plants. PMPL will provide comprehensive O&M services, including operating new advanced rolling stock and an upgraded Communication Based Train Control (CBTC) signaling system, aiming to enhance service reliability and passenger experience. This project strengthens PMPL's position in the nation's rapidly expanding infrastructure sectors.
