JK Paper Ltd Receives Appellate Order from Commissioner of Income Tax (Appeals), Ahmedabad: Rs. 49.53 Crore Demand Deleted

JK Paper Ltd has received an Appellate Order from the Commissioner of Income Tax (Appeals), Ahmedabad, dated 27th March 2026, regarding the Assessment Year 2022-23. The order has deleted the additions made to the income of the Company by the Income Tax Officer, which had led to an aggregate demand of Rs. 49.53 crore (including interest of Rs. 15.19 crore). The Company had filed an appeal before the Commissioner of Income Tax (Appeals) against the assessment order. The Company continues to maintain that its tax positions are in accordance with applicable laws and does not anticipate any material adverse impact on its financials, operations or other activities pursuant to the said order.
