Oil India Ltd. and Assam Power Generation Corporation Ltd. (APGCL) have formed a Joint Venture Company named 'APGCL OIL GREEN POWER LIMITED'. The company, incorporated in India on 21st February 2025, is in the Renewable/Non-conventional Energy industry. The joint venture aims to plan, develop, construct, own, and operate renewable/green energy projects, including solar, small hydro, wind, biomass, or any other form of green energy. It also plans to explore, research, develop, and establish green hydrogen infrastructure and technologies. The company has received approval from the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas, DIPAM, and NITI Aayog. Oil India Ltd. has subscribed to 49% of the shares at a face value of Rs. 10 each.
