The company has completed the second tranche of acquisition of the business of Stahlschmidt Cable Systems (SCS) pertaining to China and Canada. The consolidated EBITDA grew by 15%, but the standalone EBITDA de-grew by 6.5%. The overall Indian automotive sector grew at 1.5%, with Passenger Vehicles growth at 3.4% and 2-wheeler segment at 0.7%. Global automotive and non-automotive segments are facing challenges due to geopolitical uncertainties and conflicts. US tariffs and rare earth export restrictions in China are significant concerns for the industry.
