8x8 Inc. reported a material cybersecurity incident where an unauthorized third party gained access to its Salesforce CRM system via a Klue Labs integration between June 11-12, 2026. The threat actor exfiltrated competitively sensitive customer information, including fragmented contract and opportunity details, sales notes, and contact information. Upon discovery, 8x8 and Klue immediately disabled the integration and removed access. The company states the incident has not impacted business operations or its ability to serve customers and is not expected to have a material impact on its financial condition.
