Aduro and AstroTurf Partner to Evaluate Turf Recycling Tech

Aduro Clean Technologies Inc. and AstroTurf Corporation have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to evaluate the application of Aduro's Hydrochemolytic™ (HCT) technology for recycling end-of-life synthetic turf. This partnership aims to assess the technical and economic feasibility of recovering polyethylene (PE) and polypropylene (PP) from synthetic turf and converting them into liquid hydrocarbons for circular use. The collaboration will focus on defining the necessary mechanical pretreatment and HCT conversion processes to address the complex nature of synthetic turf waste.
