Gogo's SD Government Secures $7.5M NOAA Contract

SD Government, a Gogo company, has secured a multi-year framework contract from the U.S. Department of Commerce's National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). The $7.5 million contract will provide a comprehensive mission communications solution for the NOAA Aircraft Operations Center, home to the Hurricane Hunter fleet. This includes L-Band satellite communications, ground infrastructure, cybersecurity solutions, and Gogo’s FlightDeck Freedom cockpit datalink software, ensuring reliable communications for essential research ahead of the upcoming hurricane season.
