Gogo Inc. announced that Hayden Olson transitioned from EVP, General Manager, SD Government to EVP, Corporate Development on July 15, 2026. In his new capacity, Mr. Olson will oversee strategic initiatives, develop military/government partnership opportunities, and identify new revenue streams, continuing to report to CEO Christopher Moore. Gogo announced that Gulfstream Aerospace Corp. has received a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) to install Gogo Galileo HDX on Gulfstream G650 and G650ER aircraft. This electronically steered antenna (ESA) provides a compact, lightweight, and high-performance connectivity solution, powered by Eutelsat’s OneWeb low earth orbit (LEO) network. The first PC-12 modified under a federal contract is set to return to service, with further European and Canadian approvals anticipated. The $7.5 million contract will provide a comprehensive mission communications solution for the NOAA Aircraft Operations Center, home to the Hurricane Hunter fleet. This includes L-Band satellite communications, ground infrastructure, cybersecurity solutions, and Gogo’s FlightDeck Freedom cockpit datalink software, ensuring reliable communications for essential research ahead of the upcoming hurricane season.
