Gray Media Closes TV Station Asset Exchange with Scripps

Gray Media, Inc. announced the closing of its previously announced cash-free, even exchange of television station assets with the E.W. Scripps Company. Gray acquired WSYM (Fox) in Lansing, Michigan, and KATC (ABC) in Lafayette, Louisiana, expanding its presence in existing markets. In exchange, Scripps acquired KKTV (CBS) in Colorado Springs, Colorado, KKCO (NBC) and KJCT-LP (ABC) in Grand Junction, Colorado, and KMVT (CBS) and KSVT-LD (Fox) in Twin Falls, Idaho. With this closing, Gray has completed all previously announced television station transactions and now serves 117 full-power television markets, reaching approximately 37% of US television households.
