Gray Media, Inc. has appointed Jay Hiett as the new General Manager for its Louisville, Kentucky stations WDRB, WAVE, and WBKI, effective immediately. Hiett brings over 25 years of broadcast executive experience, most recently serving as General Manager of WFIE (14NEWS) in Evansville, Indiana, where he led significant growth. This appointment aims to enhance local journalism and community service in Louisville.

Gray Media, Inc. announced the closing of its previously announced cash-free, even exchange of television station assets with the E.W. Scripps Company. Gray acquired WSYM (Fox) in Lansing, Michigan, and KATC (ABC) in Lafayette, Louisiana, expanding its presence in existing markets. In exchange, Scripps acquired KKTV (CBS) in Colorado Springs, Colorado, KKCO (NBC) and KJCT-LP (ABC) in Grand Junction, Colorado, and KMVT (CBS) and KSVT-LD (Fox) in Twin Falls, Idaho. With this closing, Gray has completed all previously announced television station transactions and now serves 117 full-power television markets, reaching approximately 37% of US television households.

Gray Media, Inc. announced the completion of its previously announced transactions with Allen Media Group, Inc. for a total purchase price of $171 million plus working capital adjustments. The acquisitions were completed in two phases, with the final phase closing on May 1, 2026, and were funded using the Company's available cash on hand. The company also obtained an SEC waiver for certain financial statement requirements related to the acquisition.
