MDA Space Closes $819M Upsized Bought Deal Offering

MDA Space announced the closing of its upsized bought deal offering of common shares, raising approximately $819 million in gross proceeds. A total of 23,000,000 common shares were issued and sold at a price of $35.60 per share. The net proceeds are intended to fund a portion of the cash purchase price for the previously announced acquisition of approximately a 70% interest in Collecte Localisation Satellites (CLS). The company also granted underwriters an over-allotment option for an additional 15% of shares.
