Smithfield Foods Donates $100K, Protein for School Rallies

Smithfield Foods has partnered with Feed the Children to launch a series of three Resource Rallies aimed at helping families prepare for the upcoming school year. Smithfield is contributing $100,000 and thousands of pounds of protein, including ham, bacon, and lunchmeat, to the initiative. The rallies, starting in Nashville, Tennessee, and continuing in Denison, Iowa, and Kinston, North Carolina, will support approximately 400 families each by providing food, essential hygiene items, and school supplies. This effort builds on a three-year partnership between the organizations, with Smithfield having donated over 340 million servings of protein since 2008.
