
Standard Lithium JV Signs EPCC Agreement for SWA Project CPF
Smackover Lithium, a partnership between Standard Lithium and Equinor, has entered into an engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning (EPCC) agreement with S&B Engineers and Constructors for the Central Processing Facility (CPF) of the South West Arkansas (SWA) Project. S&B will be supported by Hatch Ltd. for design engineering and commissioning. This agreement covers approximately two-thirds of the Project's estimated capital expenditure, which aims to produce 22,500 tonnes per annum of battery-quality lithium carbonate. The agreement includes a Limited Notice to Proceed (LNTP) to advance detailed engineering and early procurement, with a Full Notice to Proceed expected after a positive Final Investment Decision (FID) in 2026, following the finalization of customer offtakes and project financing.
