The DOE issued a Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI), indicating no further mitigation measures or conditions are required. This milestone was crucial for the $225 million DOE grant awarded in January 2025 and means no further federal approvals are needed before the Final Investment Decision (FID). The partnership continues to advance key construction contracts, customer offtake, and project financing, with FID and construction expected in 2026 and first commercial production in 2029.

Standard Lithium signed its first binding commercial offtake agreement with Trafigura for 8,000 metric tonnes per year of battery-quality lithium carbonate over 10 years, covering over 40% of targeted commitments for the SWA Project. The company also achieved major operational milestones at its Arkansas Demonstration Plant, processing 1 million barrels of brine and completing 15,000 DLE cycles with zero incidents over six years. Standard Lithium remains on track for a Final Investment Decision and construction start at the SWA Project in 2026, aiming for first commercial production in 2029. The company reported $141.0 million in cash and $139.5 million in working capital as of March 31, 2026, with no debt.
