Vishay Introduces New IR Receiver Modules for Universal Remote Control

Vishay Intertechnology has launched a new series of infrared (IR) receiver modules, the TSOP15300 series, designed for IR remote control applications. These modules feature a wide modulation frequency acceptance from 30 kHz to 68 kHz, allowing them to receive and demodulate all major remote control codes, thus enabling single-component universal remote control solutions. The new receivers reduce component counts, lower system costs, and save board space, while also providing immunity against ripple noise and interference. Samples and production quantities are currently available with a six-week lead time.
