Vishay Launches 34 PHE Absolute Position Sensor, 40% Lower Cost

Vishay Intertechnology has launched the new Vishay Sfernice 34 PHE, a multi-turn absolute position sensor. This device utilizes non-contacting Hall Effect technology, offering high accuracy with linearity down to ± 1 % and a lifespan exceeding 10 million cycles. Notably, it is available at a 40 % lower cost than previous models, making it a cost-effective solution for various industrial applications including motor control, solar panel tracking, and agricultural machinery. The sensor is IP65-rated, features integrated protection, and reports position immediately upon power-up.
