Align Technology announced the resignation of Julie Coletti, Executive Vice President, Chief Legal and Regulatory Officer. Ms. Coletti is departing to assume the role of Chief Legal Officer at Illumina, Inc. Her resignation from Align Technology will be effective on August 1, 2026.

Align Technology announced a board leadership transition. C. Raymond Larkin, Jr. will retire as Chairman of the Board effective July 1, 2026, and as a Board member effective December 31, 2026, after more than 20 years of service. Kevin Conroy, an independent director, has been appointed to succeed Mr. Larkin as Chairman, also effective July 1, 2026. Mr. Conroy brings extensive experience, including his previous role as CEO of Exact Sciences.

Align Technology, Inc. held its 2026 Annual Meeting of Stockholders on May 20, 2026, where all proposals presented were approved. Stockholders elected all ten director nominees to serve for a one-year term. Additionally, the advisory vote to approve the compensation of the company's named executive officers passed, and the appointment of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP as the independent registered public accounting firm for 2026 was ratified. The special meeting provision in the company's Amended and Restated Bylaws was also ratified.

Align Technology reported strong financial results for the first quarter of 2026, with net revenues increasing to $1.04 billion and net income rising to $112.8 million, or $1.57 diluted EPS. The company also saw a significant increase in net cash provided by operating activities, reaching $151.0 million. However, legal settlements accrued during the quarter were substantially higher at $30.6 million. Additionally, Align Technology made an acquisition adding $18.6 million in goodwill and an additional $50.0 million investment in Heartland Dental Holding Corporation.
