Alliance Resource Partners LP (ARLP) announced the completion of its acquisition of general and limited partner interests in AllDale Minerals III, LP and AllDale Minerals IV, LP for approximately $206.2 million. The acquisition was funded through a combination of cash on hand, borrowings under its revolving credit facility, and a new $150 million Term Loan. Following this transaction, ARLP's Oil & Gas Royalties segment now controls approximately 115,680 net royalty acres, including over 44,770 net royalty acres in the Permian Basin. Additionally, certain related parties of Joseph W. Craft III acquired $100 million in limited partner interests in AllDale III.

Alliance Resource Partners, L.P. (ARLP) announced a definitive agreement to acquire interests in AllDale Minerals III, LP and AllDale Minerals IV, LP for approximately $206.2 million. This acquisition is expected to significantly expand ARLP's oil and gas royalties platform, increasing its economic interest in the acquired assets from approximately 5% to 61%. The deal, which includes approximately 48,500 net royalty acres across premier basins, is expected to be immediately accretive to free cash flow and maintain leverage below 1.0x. Notably, related parties of CEO Joseph W. Craft III will acquire $100.0 million of limited partner interests on similar terms, with the transaction approved by an independent conflicts committee.

Alliance Resource Partners LP reported a significant decline in Q1 2026 net income attributable to ARLP to $9.09 million, or $0.07 per unit, down from $73.98 million, or $0.57 per unit, in Q1 2025. This was primarily driven by a $37.8 million asset impairment charge related to the decision to cease longwall production at its Mettiki mining complex. The company also completed two oil & gas royalty acre acquisitions for a total of $14.5 million and saw a decrease in total revenues.

Alliance Resource Partners (ARLP) reported Q1 2026 net income of $9.1 million, a significant decrease of 87.7% year-over-year, with total revenues down 4.5% to $516.0 million. Net income was impacted by lower coal sales, higher depreciation, and a $37.8 million non-cash asset impairment charge at the Mettiki mine due to ceasing longwall production. Despite these challenges, the company declared a quarterly cash distribution of $0.60 per unit and achieved record oil & gas royalty revenues and volumes, which were up 14.6% and 16.1% year-over-year, respectively. ARLP also completed $16.2 million in oil & gas mineral interest acquisitions during the quarter.

Alliance Resource Partners, L.P. (ARLP) reported that its indirect subsidiary, River View Coal LLC, received an imminent danger order from the Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) at its River View Mine (Mine ID No. 15-19374) on April 1, 2026. The order, issued under Section 107(a) of the Federal Mine Safety and Health Act of 1977, was related to maintenance work on a shuttle car that MSHA determined was not adequately blocked against motion. Miners were promptly removed from the affected area, and corrective actions were swiftly implemented, leading to MSHA terminating the order later the same day. Importantly, no injuries occurred as a result of the incident, and the Partnership reserves the right to contest the order and any associated citations or proposed assessments.
