Encompass Health Corp. announced the pricing of a private offering of $500 million in 5.875% senior notes due 2034. The offering is expected to close on May 29, 2026. The company plans to use the net proceeds, combined with cash on hand, to redeem $400 million of its 4.500% Senior Notes due 2028 and repay $100 million from its revolving credit facility, along with covering related fees.

Encompass Health reported strong first-quarter results for 2026, with net operating revenues increasing by 9.0% to $1.59 billion and net income attributable to the company rising by 28.4% to $194.5 million. Diluted earnings per share grew by 30.4% to $1.93. The company also recognized a $17.5 million pre-tax gain from the sale of its Gamma Knife Center interest and a $16.3 million after-tax gain from a litigation settlement related to discontinued operations.
