HII and the U.S. Navy celebrated the opening of the new Carrier Refueling Overhaul Workcenter (CROW) at Newport News Shipbuilding. This 80,000-square-foot facility is designed to enhance the work environment for sailors and shipbuilders during the refueling and complex overhaul (RCOH) of nuclear-powered aircraft carriers. The CROW provides dedicated office spaces and quality of service areas, supporting the "Sailors First" vision and improving warfighting readiness.

HII has been awarded a $418 million indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract by Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA). The five-year contract tasks HII's Mission Technologies division with providing engineering, maintenance, and technical repair support for shipboard elevators, cargo handling equipment, and associated systems on U.S. Navy aircraft carriers and amphibious ships. This contract aims to support the fleet's operational readiness, building on HII's four decades of experience in elevator support.

HII announced the delivery of its first REMUS 130 unmanned underwater vehicle (UUV) to a U.S. ally, marking a significant milestone for the next generation of its widely deployed autonomous underwater vehicles. The REMUS 130, building on the legacy of the REMUS 100 series, features modernized electronics, open-architecture interfaces, and enhanced payload flexibility. This compact, two-person-portable UUV operates at depths of up to 100 meters with up to 10 hours of endurance, supporting various critical undersea missions. The delivery further expands HII's global portfolio, which includes over 750 REMUS vehicles delivered worldwide.

HII successfully hosted its second DefenseTech LIVE event, gathering defense leaders and technologists to accelerate progress on integrated, multi-domain capabilities for warfighters. The event featured over 25 technology demonstrations, expert panels, and discussions on open architecture, autonomy, and resilient command and control. Andy Green, executive vice president of HII and president of Mission Technologies, emphasized the company's commitment to delivering technologies, integration, and speed for mission success. HII's Ingalls Shipbuilding division recognized 40 employees as "Master Shipbuilders" for achieving 40 years of continuous service.
